i. How to receive cryptocurrency in your EQX wallet
At Alpha Launch users will not be able to send crypto from their accounts. We are actively working to allow users to send crypto from their EQX Wallet. Once we launch this feature follow the steps below to send coins from your EQX wallet:
Step 1: From your dashboard select "Move" (button third from the left on the navigation bar) and then "Receive Crypto" on the Move screen .
Step 2: Select a coin to receive either from your list of coins or from a list of all coins supported on EQX, or you can manually search for a coin you want to receive.
Step 3: On the Network Page tap “Select Network” and select the network to receive coins on. Ensure that your sending wallet supports the network you select. Failure to do so may result in total loss of assets.
Step 4: Click “Copy Address” to copy the wallet address or tap “Show QR” to scan the QR code provided.
Step 5: Share this information with the sender, ensure they set the network and wait for the transaction to process.

iii. Understanding wallet addresses and how they work
Wallet addresses are unique strings used to send and receive cryptocurrency between accounts. Each coin has a specific wallet address. Always ensure the sender uses the correct one to avoid losing funds.
iv. How long do transfers take and what are the fees?
Every blockchain network requires a fee for processing and validating transactions. This fee is known as a network fee. Network fees vary depending on the blockchain network (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum) and the network's current congestion. During busy periods, fees can be higher.
Transaction time refers to the amount of time it takes for a transaction to be processed on a network from the moment an order is placed to when the funds are transferred to another wallet. Transaction times vary by coin and network and are dependent on the network congestion, transaction size, and coin type.
v. Common issues receiving coins and solutions
Confirm Network Selection
Only send crypto via the coin’s supported network. Using the wrong network can result in lost funds.
Double-Check the Wallet Address
Confirm that the sender used the correct wallet address provided by EQX. Even a small error can cause the funds to be sent elsewhere.
Confirm Processing Times
Some blockchain networks experience delays due to congestion. Give it some time, especially during peak periods, before assuming the funds are missing.
